Community Voices in PK-12 Climate and Environmental Education
Led by The ECCLPs Collective
Across California, communities are creating meaningful opportunities for students to engage with climate and environmental issues in locally relevant ways. Community Voices in PK–12 Climate and Environmental Education highlights a wide range of grassroots efforts that bring climate learning to life through hands-on, place-based experiences. These initiatives center community knowledge, foster environmental stewardship, and empower young people to take informed action in their own backyards. By connecting classrooms with communities, they build a stronger, more resilient future.
